Pastor Jared Klopfenstein

I grew up as a pastor’s kid in Colorado Springs and Michiana. I met my wife Lexy, a Pediatric Physical Therapist from Oregon, in a Bible study in 2020 - we married in 2022! I love reading, traveling to other countries, film, paddle boarding, and good food.

My life has been one of slow, steady growth in becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ – and I’m still on that journey! I’m passionate about bringing intentional disciple-making into the church, and empowering everyone to participate in The Great Commission with their own unique gifting.

I have my B.A. in Bible and Greek from Moody Bible Institute and my M.Th. in New Testament Theology from London School of Theology. Before planting Salt Church, I worked as an Associate Pastor, and as a trainer with T-Net International, which provides training to pastors serving in third-world countries.
