What We Believe

We believe that The Bible is God’s divine revelation of himself to us, and it is the primary place we look to for our truth, life, and godliness. We also practice “Theological Triage,” which is a concept of prioritizing different biblical beliefs. The beliefs that we consider biblically “primary” and “essential” are found in the EFCA Statement of Faith (https://www.efca.org/sof).

We understand that beyond these beliefs, there are many things we will disagree on - some are theological, and some pertain to the practice of the church. In these things, we aim for the old adage - “In essentials: unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.” That being said, if a secondary or tertiary issue that we disagree on is of greater importance to you, we would be happy to help you find another local church with which you are aligned to connect with.
